Banyan Networks is the leading network integration company in Hawaii. We specialize in designing and building world-class networks for federal and local government, critical infrastructure, and enterprise companies that require robust and reliable communications networks.

The Account Manager will focus on selling to new customers, as well as cultivating and growing our installed base of customers. The Account Manager will sell new products and services, maintenance agreements, as well as prepare proposals, bid responses and quotes. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ability to convert leads into opportunities and close deals
  • Work closely with partners in a collaborative environment
  • Develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders to understand a customer’s business and develop strategic roadmaps.
  • Direct regular business reviews and executive sessions to better understand business and technical needs.
  • Cold calling
  • Assist with proposals and bid responses
  • Utilize resources including sales leads, marketing collateral, and supplemental sales training
  • Effectively demonstrating to potential customers, the value of Banyan Networks
  • Stay on top of industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or better in business, technical discipline, or engineering
  • 5 Years of experience in a customer-facing role sales role
  • Knowledge of telecommunications
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
  • Self-motivated and ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Technical aptitude
  • Detail-oriented and good time management skills and ability to prioritize work
  • Strong math skills
  • Ability to persevere in the face of adversity
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Strong business ethics
  • Prior experience in technology sales preferred, but not required
  • Organized
  • Neighbor island travel required
  • Driver’s license required
  • Drug test required

Salary and Benefits

  • Full-Time position
  • Salary Range is $80k to $100k base
  • Generous commission plan
  • Direct Deposit, bi-weekly payroll
